Together Caring for the Earth: A Campaign to Plant 2,600 Trees to Reduce Carbon Emissions










SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities), in collaboration with PT Pertamina EP Donggi Matindok Field and KKKS (Contractor of Cooperation Contracts) in the regions of Kalimantan and Sulawesi, has undertaken a tree planting initiative involving 2,600 trees. This activity targets schools located in the Batui and South Batui sub-districts to instill environmental awareness from an early age. The ceremonial event took place at SD 1 Nonong, Batui sub-district. This initiative is a manifestation of strong commitment to contribute meaningfully in supporting government efforts to respond to climate change, particularly in achieving Net Zero Emission (NZE). This activity also supports the international sustainable development goals agenda, specifically goals 13 (Climate Action), 15 (Life on Land), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
